1.) What is workers' compensation?

In summary:

  • Workers' compensation is also known as workman's compensation, or workers' comp.

5.) Can undocumented workers use workers' compensation?

In short the answer is YES!

Your immigration status DOES NOT prevent you from getting workers compensation benefits in Arizona.

According to Arizona law, employees are defined as "every person in the service of any employer ... including aliens and minors legally or illegally permitted to work for hire."

This means that you cannot be denied your workers' compensation claim due to your immigration status.

Your employer may have told you that because you are an undocumented worker you can't get workers' compensation benefits. This is NOT TRUE!

Using a fake identity or social security number is not a valid reason to deny you workers' compensation benefits.

HAPPY PATIENTS:

Who Are We?

ABOUT AZURE HEALTH:

Azure Health, your one stop medical shop for all things Orthopedics, Total Joint Replacement, Sports Medicine, Pain Management, & Sports Performance Training.

You may be asking:
"How do you do all this for me, without sending me to several places?"
That's a great question! This is possible due to Azure Health being a multi specialty group.

Curious as to what that means?
A multi specialty group is: A clinic where doctors work together like one big family. They achieve this by sharing the same facilities, administration, income, expenses, support staff, & equipment.

Wondering how this will benefit you?
This allows you to come to one place for each phase of your treatment, however big or small. Because you are seeing specialists and physicians, who all work together in the same facility day in and day out. Your treatment providers will have better communication, be used to effectively working together, and in turn provide you a higher level of treatment.

So what are you waiting for?
